Our label owner Kristian Smith has been producing Drum & Bass, and
other forms of EDM from his Bristol (UK) based studio since the mid
90’s. Origanally he started DJing Hardcore, Jungle / Drum & Bass,
Gabba Techno and Happy Hardcore from the early 90's and through to
the mid 2000's at various venues around the UK under the name Dj
Vinyl Ryder. In 1995 Kristian formed one of the first online dance
music magazine (Website) called “Katch the Vibe”. throughout his
Producing career he has produced under many names including
Digital Justice, Albert Grimestein, Dark Emotion, DUBST8, The Happy
Pessimist, to name but a few. In 1997 Kris formed the record label
called Vinyl Related Records. From 1997 to 2004 Kristian also
promoted club nights called DigThis! in Bristol & Cornwal. In early 2011
He started a sub-label of Vinyl Related Records called DivisionBass
Digital, due to its success and reputation over the years it has now
become the main label. Kristian also owns
lowpriceaudiomastering.com also known as GreenWaves Audio
mastering. The mastering studio was setup to help new artists and
other labels get good quality professional Audio Mastering at a
affordable low price. Please check out his work below.
