Thank you for signing with DivisionBass Digital Records. We're delighted to welcome you to the label and look forward to working with you and helping take your music to a wider audience. To get your release prepared for distribution, promotion, and release, please provide the following information and materials. 1. Your Track(s) Please provide your final track(s), preferably as 24-bit or 16-bit WAV, AIFF, or FLAC files. Please name your files using the following format: Track Name – Artist Name If the track features another artist, please include their name in the filename where appropriate. Already supplied your final files? If you haven't made any changes to the tracks since sending them to us, there is no need to send them again. 2. Mastering & Headroom For the best possible mastering results, please provide your unmastered mix with approximately -6 dB of headroom from your DAW. Please do not normalise the file before sending it. If your track has already been mastered, please add "(Already Mastered)" to the end of the filename. 3. Promotional Photograph — Optional Please provide a high-quality promotional photograph of yourself or your artist project. Where possible, please supply a professional-looking image that can be used for promotional purposes and on digital stores such as Beatport. 4. Artist Biography — Optional Please provide a short biography telling us a little about yourself, your musical background, how you got into producing, and any other information you feel would be useful for promotional purposes. 5. Release Artwork If you already have artwork for your release, please send it to us. Important: Artwork must be 100% your own original work or artwork for which you have full commercial rights. Please do not use copyrighted images, logos, or other material without permission. Artwork should be supplied as: 3000 × 3000 pixels – JPG We will add the DivisionBass Digital Records logo where required. If you don't have suitable artwork, don't worry as we can provide branded artwork for your release. 6. Social Media & Online Profiles Please provide links to your current social media and online profiles, such as: Facebook Instagram SoundCloud YouTube X / Twitter Website Other relevant artist pages These links help us promote you and your music. 7. Explicit Content Please let us know if any of your tracks contain explicit language or adult themes. If so, please clearly identify which track(s) are affected. 8. Uploading Your Files Please send your files to us using our Dropbox upload facility: Upload your files via Dropbox Where possible, please place your files into a folder and ZIP the folder before uploading. 9. Track Information Please provide the following information for each track: Track title Artist name Featured artists, if applicable Genre Exact track length BPM Any other relevant release information 10. Existing Spotify & Apple Music Profiles If you already have music available on Spotify and/or Apple Music, please send us links to your existing artist profile pages. This helps us ensure that your new release is correctly associated with your existing artist profiles. 11. Performing Rights Organisation If you are registered with a Performing Rights Organisation (PRO), please provide your: PRO name CAE / IPI number, where applicable For example: BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, or another relevant organisation. Remix Contests Would you like us to consider holding a remix competition for your track? We can discuss this with you. However, please be aware that a remix competition can add additional time to the release schedule. Alternatively, if you have another track you'd like us to consider for release, feel free to send us a demo. If we agree to hold a remix competition, we will require: Full stems in WAV format BPM Any other relevant production information Important SoundCloud Information If your track is currently available on SoundCloud as a free download, please disable the free-download option if the track is being prepared for release with DivisionBass Digital Records. If appropriate, please also add: Forthcoming on DivisionBass Digital to the track information/title. Where available, please add [DivisionBass Digital] within the relevant metadata and use the DivisionBass Digital Records logo supplied to you. Important: Samples & Vocals Before your release can be commercially distributed, please ensure that all vocals, samples, loops, recordings, and other third-party material have the necessary permissions and licences for commercial use. If you are using any uncleared material, please remove it or replace it with properly licensed material before submitting your final release. The responsibility for ensuring that all material is legally cleared rests with the artist. What Happens Next? Once we have received all the required material, our team will begin preparing your release for promotion and worldwide digital distribution. Once a confirmed release date has been established, we'll provide you with the relevant release information and artwork via email or Facebook. Keep up to date with our latest news, releases, and advance release information through our website and social media channels. Future Releases Once you've signed with DivisionBass Digital Records, you're welcome to submit additional tracks for consideration in the future. All future releases will, of course, be subject to our usual quality and A&R approval process. We also strongly recommend keeping your SoundCloud, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other artist profiles up to date. A strong online presence can be an important part of promoting your music and developing your artist profile.
